      THE ATTRIBUTES OF GOD

HELLO, GIRLS and BOYS! Welcome to STORY TIME!

Some of you are very young, and you have not yet learned to read for yourselves, so you will have to sit quietly and listen while this story is read to you.

Put your thinking caps on, and get ready to listen to our story about a great KING who rules the whole universe in which we live.

There never was a time when this KING did not exist in the past, and there will never be a time when He will not live in the future either.  He was here before there were any stars, or planets, or heavens, or angels, or people.

This KING spoke words of command, and within six literal days.  He created the heavens with its stars and planets, and also the earth with its mountains, valleys, plants, birds, and animals.  After everything was perfect, He took some clay from the ground, and He formed a man and called his name Adam.  Then He breathed physical and spiritual life into Adam and placed him in a

In a desperate need to find answers to life, I began to read the New Testament scriptures. After a week long struggle trying to understand it, God the Holy Spirit convicted me of the reality that Jesus Christ died on the cross as my substitute, and I believed in Him. Since that moment in time, God's Word has become uppermost in my thoughts.

Because the Lord wants a new 'babe in Christ' to mature, He faithfully provides help by directing the new believer to a pastor/teacher/ for edification and spiritual growth through sound Bible teaching. (see 1 Peter 2:2) & Romans 10:17)

The teaching of Dr. J. Vernon McGee for our first few years as Christians furnished an excellent foundation on which to grow in grace and knowledge of the Lord. In 1964 we were introduced to an academic teaching of the Bible Doctrine by Col.R.B. Thieme, Jr.of Houston TX. According to the apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 2:16, Bible Doctrine is the very thinking of Jesus Christ. We can't truly love him unless we know how He thinks.

Col. Thieme teaches from the original languages of Scripture, so he can be dogmatic in his presentation of God's Word. He teaches historical facts that correspond to the Times in which Biblical events took place for a better understanding of Scripture;subjects are placed into specific categories from the Genesis to Revelation to avoid false concepts;and exegetically, which means to bring out the true meaning of Scripture rather than mere application for the reader.

In the spring of 1998, the Lord motivated me to write some Bible tracts for young people, and our friend Wesley Miller put them on the Internet. Many of those tracts present the Gospel message of salvation, which is FAITH ALONE IN CHRIST ALONE so that young people can exercise their own free will to believe in Jesus Christ and have eternal life. A series of 33 Bible studies followed in order to help young believers in their spiritual growth.

After the tracts and Bible studies, several colorful, illustrated stories featuring Biblical characters like Jonah and Esther, were added to the website along with 5 dramas on Bible Playhouse. All of these materials have been written and put on the Internet in order to stimulate interest in God's Word, but, most of all, to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ.

We are confident in his truth; "THE WORD OF GOD IS ALIVE AND POWERFUL, SHARPER THAN ANY TWO EDGED SWORD, PIERCING EVEN TO THE DIVIDING ASUNDER OF SOUL AND SPIRIT AND OF THE JOINTS AND MORROW, AND IS A CRITIC OF THE THOUGHTS AND INTENTS OF THE HEART. (Hebrews 4:12)
